The Burrow app

Burrow collects no analytics or telemetry. It doesn't report what you do, which files you have, or how you use it. Your files stay on your Mac, and tools like Remove Background and Copy Text run on your Mac too. Burrow sends something only in these cases:

Your license. When you activate a license, Burrow sends the license key and your Mac's name to Polar, which issues and checks licenses for us. The name lets you tell your Macs apart when you release one. When you are online, Burrow checks the license with Polar again now and then, to notice a refund.
Updates. When Burrow checks for updates, it asks tryburrow.app whether there is a newer version.

Things you ask for go straight to where you point them, not to us: git's Fetch, Pull and Push talk to your own git remotes, and pictures from the web in a note load only if you allow them.

Buying Burrow

Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. You give your payment details to Polar, not to us, and Polar's privacy policy covers them. Polar shares your name, email address and order with us, and we use them only to look after your license and answer you.

This website

tryburrow.app has no ads and sets no cookies of its own. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records the page, the referring site, and your browser, device type and country, without cookies, fingerprinting or storing your IP address, so it can't tell who you are or follow you to other sites. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles each request (including your IP address) to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.

Sharing and your rights

We don't sell or share your information with anyone beyond Polar, as described above. You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@tryburrow.app.
